Demographics
As of the census of 2000, there are 109,697 people, 35,405 households, and 28,925 families residing in the town. The population density is 985.9/km˛ (2,553.7/mi˛). The racial makeup of the town is 85.73% White, 2.41% Black or African American, 0.62% Native American, 3.59% Asian, 0.12% Pacific Islander, 4.77% from other races, and 2.77% from two or more races. 11.87% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
